Overview

SideDrawer evolved out of a need we faced in our personal and business lives. We frequently found the need to exchange confidential, sensitive information like tax documents with an accountant or a financial advisor, but the only option was through unsecure email, or file sharing sites that offered a generally poor user experience.

We also realized that enterprises and startups who needed to improve their internal or clients' document collaboration offering did not have the ability to truly create their own experiences. They were forced into using storage platforms with limited functionality and interfaces, or they had storage solutions through their cloud providers but no workflows and everything had to be built from scratch.

So, combining both problems resulted in SideDrawer becoming the first API-based infrastructure agnostic, document collaboration platform. Our platform serves individuals and businesses through our web and mobile document collaboration platform, and our APIs serve enterprises and fintechs with infrastructure-agnostic APIs that can be incorporated into a seamless user experience.
